How do you know this house's neighborhood?

I'm house hunting and checked this place out.

Kid population

(How many kids live in the immediate vicinity of this home? What ages are they?)

The cul-de-sac has one four-year-old girl, a six-year-old boy, two eleven-year old girls, and a thirteen-year-old girl. Also, there's a house with three little kids on Windsor at the other end of this street.

Play opportunities

(Do kids play outside around there? How often? In the streets, the fronts of houses, or the back yards?)

The kids that are here are pretty active outside. Also, the kids on Windsor sometimes play on the cul-de-sac.

Adult community

(Do adults spend time in front of their houses and walking around the neighborhood? How well do they know each other?)

Adults are very friendly, and they would very much like another family there.

Other Comments

This is a cul-de-sac, so there is *very* little traffic. The public elementary school, Oak Knoll, is over a mile and a half away, but at least kids wouldn't have to cross any major streets to get there. The middle school, Hillview, is *much* closer. Finally, downtown Menlo Park is very walkable - less than 1/4 mile away.
