I live close to it.

(How many kids live in the immediate vicinity of this home? What ages are they?)

There aren't many in the immediate (within two or three houses) vicinity, but if you go a block and a half down Fulton toward Palo Alto Ave., or if you go on Guinda, there are a *lot* of preschool and elementary school-aged boys. Fulton between Palo Alto Ave. and Everett is a *huge* Playborhood.

(Do kids play outside around there? How often? In the streets, the fronts of houses, or the back yards?)

Fulton a block and a half away (see above) is teeming with boy play usually, but right here at this house, nothing's happening...

Adult community

(Do adults spend time in front of their houses and walking around the neighborhood? How well do they know each other?)

It's a decent neighborhood for adults, but not great.
Cars do come zooming by here during rush hour in particular. Proximity to downtown Palo Alto is outstanding, and proximity to wonderful Johnson Park is great, too. The elementary school, Addison, is ~ 1/2 mile away and it's across Middlefield, so its placement isn't ideal.
