How do you know this house's neighborhood?

I'm house hunting and checked this place out.

Kid population

(How many kids live in the immediate vicinity of this home? What ages are they?)

There are 2-year-old twins across the street and a couple other preschoolers around. Also, there are a few middle and high school kids close by. I'm not sure about elementary school kids.

Play opportunities

(Do kids play outside around there? How often? In the streets, the fronts of houses, or the back yards?)

I keep hearing about how Vintage Oaks kids play outside a lot, but after at least a half dozen visits, I haven't seen anything. I can't quite figure it out. I have heard quite a few people talk about how one can often find kids at parks, which tells me that they're often there rather than right in front of their houses.

Adult community

(Do adults spend time in front of their houses and walking around the neighborhood? How well do they know each other?)

I don't have a good feel for how good this neighborhood is for adults, except I will say we were there for over 1/2 hour on a beautiful late Sunday afternoon and saw zero adults walking by.

Other Comments

Car traffic is miniscule. There's a park very close by, and the elementary school (Laurel) is quite close.
